We are delighted with the announcement from our customer, Cryogas M&T Poland, that their latest fueling station for natural gas vehicles, featuring Chart's LNG technology is fully operational. Located near Srem, Poland, the station's primary function is to fuel the city's fleet of refuse trucks, but is available to all users of natural gas vehicles and includes the facility to provide CNG for cars, as well as LNG for high horsepower heavy duty vehicles.
Brief technical highlights of the station, from Chart's perspective, are a modular skidded design, to facilitate quick and easy installation, and integrated LNG dispenser. The station, designed and built at the Chart Ferox facility in Decin, Czech Republic, includes metering technology provided by Chart's subsidiary Flow Instruments GmbH and another German based subsidiary, GOFA, designed and built the semi-trailer fleet that Cryogas M&T uses to replenish the station with LNG.
LNG is a clean-burning, safe and economic fuel alternative to diesel and an important contributor in efforts to reduce emissions of CO2, NOx, SOx and particulates.
