Browave Corporation announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 634.900 million compared to TWD 643.736 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 48.533 million compared to TWD 23.673 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 41.887 million compared to TWD 33.444 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.48 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 0.47 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,745.424 million compared to TWD 1,834.075 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 34.327 million compared to TWD 30.854 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 88.631 million compared to TWD 45.965 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.3 compared to TWD 0.64 a year ago.
Browave Corporation is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and sales of active and passive components, modules and sub-systems of optical communications. The Company's main products include wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) products, branch products, amplification (AMP) products and optical Internet protocol network (OIN) products. The Company's products are mainly used in the triple play networks of long haul networks, metropolitan area networks and fiber to the home (FTTH) networks, as well as data communications networks. The Company distributes its products mainly to overseas markets, such as Europe, the Americas and the rest of Asia.
