June 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Wednesday that is adopting a new airworthiness directive for 13 Boeing 757-200 airplanes over reports of cracking in the structure in and around the lavatory service panel.

The FAA said the directive impacts 757-200 planes modified by particular supplemental type certificates and estimates that this it affects 13 airplanes of U.S. registry. (Reporting by Disha Mishra in Bengaluru; Editing by Savio D'Souza)
