The Blackstone Group L.P. (NYSE:BX) is reported to be in the final rounds to buy GE Osmonics, Inc. (GE Water) from General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), The Post has learned. Bain Capital Ltd and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc., bidding separately, have also been welcomed to the last round, the source said.
