Shares in Bio-UV, a water treatment group, rose by over 3% on Thursday on the Paris Bourse following the announcement of strong growth in annual sales.

For its 2022 financial year, the water disinfection specialist
using ultraviolet light, salt electrolysis, ozone and oxidation, said it had achieved sales of 51.5 million euros, up 54% on 2021.

At constant exchange rates and scope of consolidation, organic growth stood at 16% last year.

On the strength of sales exceeding its targets, Bio-UV says it expects a "high" level of profitability for the 2022 financial year, with an Ebitda margin expected to exceed 15%, compared with 11.7% in 2021.

As of January 24, its order book stood at 10 million euros, including 9.1 million to be delivered over 2023.

In a reaction note, Euroland's analysts hail the group's good publication, which they feel marks "a successful change of dimension", and reiterate their buy recommendation with a price target of seven euros.

In a study sponsored by the company, Stifel also renews its buy recommendation, with a target of 6.60 euros.
