Bharti Airtel Limited (BSE:532454) has entered final stages of discussion with Telenor ASA (OB:TEL) to acquire its local unit. The deal will be finalised by the end of February 2017, and that Airtel is a stronger negotiating position. Telenor, on the other hand, has been scouting for a buyer for a long time, reports added.
