The liquidator of Bharati Defence And Infrastructure Limited (BSE:532609) (BDIL) has called for bids for the company, which constructs ships for defence services and offshore vessels, as a going concern. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) closed insolvency process of BDIL in January 2019. BDIL was placed for liquidation after a long legal battle. Lenders are trying to see if any investor is interested in acquiring the company as a going concern on a consolidated basis. The reserve price is set at INR 6.15 Billion, said Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, which is managing the liquidation process.
