Gequity rises 18 percent, with as many as 4.8 million changed hands and with the price of a share rising two cents from the open.

Autostrade Meridionali gains 5.6 percent, extending the 10 percent rise of the last month, the 150 percent rise of the last six months, and the 126 percent rise of the last year.

FTSE SMALL CAP - LOSERS

d'Amico gives up 7.3% and records the worst performance in the basket of small-cap companies. Tamburi Investment Partners announced Friday that the vice chairman of the board, Cesare d'Amico, has taken over 10,000 common shares of TIP through d'Amico Società di Navigazione.

Softlab drops 6.2%. The company ended 2022 reporting revenues up 25 percent to EUR23.7 million from EUR18.9 million in the previous year. The Italian market, at 91 percent, remains the primary source of revenues, with European countries accounting for 7.2 percent of revenues, the United States at 1.3 percent, and the rest of the world contributing 0.4 percent. Net income of EUR3.2 million is in line with EUR3.1 million in 2021, after recording net financial management income of EUR239,000 and operating income taxes of EUR939,000.
