Outstanding Fundamental Business under Pandemic

in Q2 of FY Ending Feb. 2023

[Personnel- and education-related business]

Following a temporary deterioration with the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, the recruitment and employment environment gradually improved. In addition, workforce mobility increased under the pandemic. Business performance has been on the rise since FY2021.

[Non-face-to-face-related business]

Under the pandemic, consumers prefer non-face-to-face services, such as e-commerce, delivery and mail order. These businesses are growing steadily on a year-on-year basis as their convenience is better recognized.

[Cashless payment-related business]

Sales promotion campaigns waged by different companies with the aim of extending QR code payment services came to an end. From FY2020, the number of projects gradually declined, but strong latent social demand remains for cashless payment, including credit cards, e-money and QR code payment. The business has been brisk since the start of the current fiscal year.
