• 2014 Citrix partner award recognizes Bechtle's exceptional performance
  • Bechtle beats out more than 1,200 other partners

Neckarsulm/Orlando, 15 January 2014 - Bechtle received the award for the largest desktop virtualisation project in the Central European region at the Citrix Summit in Orlando, USA. With this award, Citrix, the leading provider of virtualisation, network and software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology, acknowledged the quality, innovation and competence its Platinum Partner brought to the table during the largest virtualisation project this past year. As he presented the award, Peter Goldbrunner, Director Partner Sales at Citrix Systems GmbH, emphasized that Bechtle topped 1,200 other Citrix partners to win the award.

As a close Citrix partner for 17 years, Bechtle has extensive product knowledge, boasting the highest number of certified Citrix consultants in Germany and acquiring Citrix Cloud Advisor status in 2013. In order to receive this distinction, companies must demonstrate high levels of competence in virtualisation, network and cloud computing as it relates to the Citrix CloudPlat-form. Bechtle's expertise covers everything from IT infrastructure and networks to complete solutions that can be demonstrated for customers at Bechtle's cloud demo centres.

The award was presented to Roland König, head of the virtualisation division at Bechtle AG, on 14 January at the Citrix Summit in Orlando. "Although we've already garnered several virtualisation awards, we are particularly pleased and honoured in this case that our efforts to continuously qualify our employees have been acknowledged. We owe this award to our excellent project teams, who do an outstanding job for our customers," underlines Roland König.

Featuring the theme "Better Together," the event was held specially for Citrix partners to inform them of the newest developments in the areas of mobility, virtualisation, networks and cloud solutions.
