On 1 January 2013 Yves A. Sarasin will take over as head of the market region Central & Eastern Europe, which at Bank Sarasin includes business booked in Switzerland for private clients domiciled in Poland and Russia. Yves A. Sarasin will be based in Bank Sarasin's Zurich office and will report directly to Eric G. Sarasin, Head of Private Banking and member of Bank Sarasin's Executive Committee. Yves A. Sarasin is therefore returning to his home country having successfully built up the representative office which opened in 2009 in Poland. The other Senior Representative in Poland, Daniel Raemy, takes sole charge of the Warsaw office.

Yves A. Sarasin

Born 1971; Swiss citizen; lives in Warsaw, Poland; Master degree in business and economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG); Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Chicago.

Yves A. Sarasin started his career in Investment Banking. During the period 1997 to 2002 he was initially with the former Union Bank of Switerland (SBG) and then moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions. Yves A. Sarasin joined Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd in 2002. Up to 2008 he had a management role in the private clients business based in Basel. He was then given the task of setting up and managing the new representative office in Warsaw, Bank Sarasin & Co. Ltd SA.
