(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the best and worst performers on the Small-Cap Wednesday afternoon in Piazza Affari.

----------

FTSE SMALL CAP - WINNERS

----------

Bialetti takes the top spot and rises more than 10 percent. The company had reported that first-quarter revenues increased to EUR36.3 million from EUR35.0 million on a like-for-like basis.

On a like-for-like basis, however, revenues in the first quarter of the previous year were EUR37.4 million. Consolidated revenues increased by 3.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year; this trend is mainly due to the improved performance achieved by the group in sales related to Coffee World, particularly in the traditional channel in the European territory, up 3.9 percent. The company reports that this trend discounts the reduction in sales recorded in the APAC region brought about by a slowdown in consumption and, in particular, in the eCommerce channel.

----------

Also in the green is Compagnia Immobiliare Azionaria, up 6.9% to EUR0.05 per share. The company approved financial information for the first quarter of the year, which closed with a loss of EUR104,000 compared to EUR150,000 loss in the same period last year.

Total revenues were EUR71,000 from EUR63,000 in the first three months of last year.

FTSE SMALL CAP - LOSERS

----------

Autostrade Meridionali gives up 5.2 percent. The stock has lost 38% in the past month, but has gained 67% in the past year.
