AURELIUS EQUITY OPPORTUNITIES AB (PUBL) STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE JANUARY 31, 2023 AT 3:35 P.M. CET

Grünwald/Stockholm, January 31, 2023 - AURELIUS Equity Opportunities AB's (publ) ("Company") published a stock exchange release ("Release") on January 16, 2023 informing that the Board of Directors of the Company's parent company AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA ("Parent") has made a decision to revoke the quotation of its shares at the m:access segment of the Open Market and the general Open Market, both of the Munich Stock Exchange.

Following the submission of an application by the Parent to the Munich Stock Exchange to revoke the quotation of the Parent's shares (ISIN DE000A0JK2A8) from the m:access segment and revoke its inclusion in the Open Market, the Parent today received a notice from the Munich Stock Exchange stating that the inclusion of the Parent's shares in the m:access segment will end at the close of 30 June 2023. The discontinuation of trading of the shares in the general Open Market of the Munich Stock Exchange will take place at the close of 29 December 2023.
The Company welcomes the fact that the Munich Stock Exchange provided the Parent for a sufficiently long phase-out period in its decision and assumes that the Parent's shares will still be traded in the general Open Market at another stock exchange in the future as well.

The Parent, who owns 100% of the shares in the Company, is a guarantor under the senior unsecured callable floating rate bonds due 2024 (ISIN: NO0010861487) ("Bonds") issued by the Company. As informed in the Release, the termination of the inclusion of the shares of the Parent in the m:access segment or general Open Market of the Munich Stock Exchange will not affect the guarantee granted by the Parent relating to the Bonds or the likelihood of timely repayment of the Bonds.
