Asia Cement Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 19,751.48 million compared to KRW 14,406.29 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 23,778.11 million compared to KRW 37,407.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 611 compared to KRW 499 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 611 compared to KRW 961 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was KRW 36,430.39 million compared to KRW 21,156.65 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 20,196.19 million compared to KRW 37,213.02 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 519 compared to KRW 480 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 519 compared to KRW 956 a year ago.
ASIA CEMENT CO.,LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of cements. The Company mainly provides cements, including general Portland cements, moderate heat Portland cements, early-strength Portland cements, low heat Portland cements and sulfate resistance Portland cements; ready-mixed concretes (REMICONs), including general concretes , high strength concretes and low heat concretes, as well as dry mortars. It also involves in the leasing of leisure facilities and buildings. On June 3, 2014, it acquired additional shares of ASIA ADVANCED MATERIALS SDN.BHD and held 100% stake in the target company after the transaction.
