LBITDA was ZAR 315 million compared to EBITDA of ZAR 190 million a year ago. Headline loss for the period was ZAR 2,518 million or 230 cents per basic and diluted share against ZAR 2,589 million or 244 cents per basic and diluted share a year ago. Investment to maintain operations was ZAR 1,002 million against ZAR 1,673 million a year ago. Investment to expand operations was ZAR 322 million against ZAR 335 million a year ago.

For the year, liquid steel production was 4,910,000 tonnes compared to 4,771,000 tonnes a year ago. Total steel sales were 4,257,000 tonnes compared to 4,087,000 tonnes a year ago. Commercial coke sales were 181,000 tonnes compared to 324,000 tonnes a year ago. Capacity utilization was 81% compared to 78% a year ago.
