TechCrunch today announced 24 finalists for the Startup Battlefield at this year’s TechCrunch Disrupt New York. The annual conference brings together young companies and tech luminaries to share innovation, insights and to uncover what’s next in the startup world. At the very heart of Disrupt, Startup Battlefield launches promising, under-the-radar companies to a global audience on tech’s biggest stage.

From Monday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 6, Startup Battlefield gathers founders to demo their new, unseen products in front of a world-class judging panel of innovators, investors and venture capitalists. Winners walk away with a $50,000 prize, the coveted Disrupt Cup and a bright future—according to Crunchbase, since 2007 participating startups have raised a collective $4.4 billion in funding after launching on the Battlefield stage. The winner will be announced at the closing awards ceremony on Wednesday evening starting at 6:15 p.m.
