In its summer schedule for 2016, ANA will further expand its international network from Narita to strengthen the airport's role as an international hub. In addition to new services on the Narita-Wuhan route from April 28 (announced on December 7, 2015), ANA will launch flights linking Narita and Phnom Penh, the capitol of Cambodia, on September 1. The new routes are: Tokyo (Narita) ­ Phnom Penh and Phnom Penh ­ Tokyo (Narita) starts services from September 1, 2016 and operated daily; Tokyo(Narita) ­ Wuhan starts services from April 28, 2016 and operated daily; Wuhan ­ Tokyo(Narita) starts services from April 29, 2016 and operated daily. During the first half of fiscal 2016, ANA will start introducing new Boeing 787-9 configured for mid-haul international services primarily on Asian routes.

Equipped with full-flat business class seats and premium economy seats, the aircraft will enable to upgrade services on introduced routes. From the end of April, the B787-9 will also start flying on Haneda-Vancouver route, meaning that all six European and all 10 North American routes will feature full-flat seats in business class. The aircraft will also be introduced to Narita-Mumbai and Haneda-Singapore route from end of March.

The new routes are: Narita-Chengdu starts services from March 27, 2016 with 7flights/week; Haneda-Hong Kong starts services from March 27, 2016 with 2 flights/week; Narita-Mumbai, Narita-Shanghai(Pudong) and Haneda-Shanghai(Pudong) starts services from March 27, 2016; Haneda-Vancouver, Haneda-Honolulu and Haneda-Singapore starts services from April 28, 2016; Narita-Manila starts services from July 1, 2016; Haneda-Hanoi starts services from August 1, 2016; Haneda-Hong Kong starts services from September 1, 2016. In the domestic network ANA is opening two new routes: Haneda = Miyako and Iwakuni = Okinawa starts services from March 27, 2016 with 1 roundtrip/day. In Cargo network ANA new route is Singapore ­ Hong Kong starts services from March 27, 2016 with 5 one-ways/week.
