Xiaofeng Zhong has been named chairman of Amundi Greater China. Zhong first joined the firm’s Hong Kong office in 2011 as deputy CEO for sales and marketing. He currently serves as CEO for North Asia, a role he took on in 2012. Prior to his time at Amundi, Zhong worked at Credit Agricole Group, holding various roles starting in 1996. Clare Zhao has joined as head of China business. Zhao was most recently at Vanguard serving as head of distribution for China and Hong Kong, where she led the development of the China business strategy. Prior to that, Zhao held various roles across Value Partners, BNP Paribas and Societe Generale. In her new role, she will oversee Amundi’s China institutional business and lead the Beijing-based QDLP/WFOE teams.
