The company announced that it has initiated a succession plan for the CEO position, so Alfredo Pérez Gubbins will continue in the role until December of 2023, promoting the strategic priorities defined for this year. Alfredo has been part of Alicorp and the Romero Group for almost 20 years and, in the last 8 years, he has led Alicorp showing high professionalism and human quality, which allowed him to face various challenges. Under his leadership, among many other actions, the acquisition and integration of important companies in Peru and Bolivia were promoted; the digital transformation journey, such as the launch of Diadia and Insuma; and innovation was promoted, the most recent of the actions being the entry into new categories such as hair care with the launch of Amarás, the brand that has quickly achieved an indisputable position in the Peruvian market.

Likewise, the company reported that Stefan Stern Uralde leaves the role of Vice President of Supply Chain in October of this year. Stefan, in the nearly 15 years in the company, has held various business roles and has led the vice presidency of Alicorp Solutions and Supply Chain, demonstrating commitment and a high executive level.

As part of this process, Manuel Romero Valdez, current CFO of the company, will additionally assume the role of Deputy General Manager to accompany the transition between Alfredo and his successor.
