ALBIS Co.,Ltd. cancelled the acquisition of three A COOP stores from JA Fukuishi Co., Ltd.

ALBIS Co.,Ltd. (TSE:7475) agreed to acquire three A COOP stores from JA Fukuishi Co., Ltd. on December 11, 2014. A basic agreement was signed on December 12, 2014. The stores had sales of ¥3.7 billion and operating loss of ¥18 million for the period ended December 2013. JA Fukuishi's management committee resolution was passed on December 11, 2014. The Board of Directors of ALBIS passed a resolution on December 12, 2014. The conclusion of business alliance and business takeover contract is scheduled on February 27, 2015 while the business transfer date is scheduled on April 1, 2015.

ALBIS Co.,Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the supermarket business. Through its subsidiaries, the Company also involves in the manufacture of prepared food, meat processing, the manufacture and sale of tofu products, as well as provision of recycle services and acceptation of various business within the group.
