• The company has obtained a B rating in the climate change reference questionnaire of the non-profit organization Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

January 7^th, 2021 - Abengoa, the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the infrastructure, energy and water sectors, has obtained a B rating in the questionnaire on climate change of the world reference organization in this matter Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). This rating places it as one of the participating companies with the highest valuation worldwide.

The B valuation is placed on a decreasing scale from A to F, which places Abengoa between the 5% of the participating companies with the highest valuation worldwide. This way Abengoa consolidates itself as a leading company in the fight against climate change and its effects, thanks to the technological solutions Abengoa provides to its clients and for the way it manages its activities, always considering efficiency and mitigation as a priority.

Initiatives such as the establishment of a system for identifying and evaluating risks associated with climate change, an internal carbon pricing strategy or the development of a Strategic Sustainability Plan that incorporates objectives and measures to mitigate emissions have allowed the valuation of Abengoa by CDP as a leading company in climate action.

CDP is a British non-profit organization that supports corporations and administrations in the dissemination of environmental and climate change information. Today, it collaborates with institutional investors who manage assets worth $ 106 trillion.
