MWC (Mobile World Congress) Shanghai 2019 held on June 26, AAC Technologies has displayed a total of six 5G solutions, including PCB solution and plastic vibrator solution for sub-6GHz large base station antenna, 5G millimeter wave base station antenna (including AOB antenna solution and patented radiator antenna solution), 5G small base station antenna, CPE antenna, mobile phone antenna, which are the 5G antenna solutions released by AAC Technologies for the first time.

5G means 5th-Generation, the 5th generation mobile communication network. Its outstanding feature is that the theoretical peak transmission rate can reach tens of Gbps per second, which is hundreds of times faster than the transmission rate of 4G network. In order to achieve high efficient transmission rate, it is bound to put forward higher requirements for the transmission and reception capability of the antenna as the carrier for transmitting and receiving 5G signals. It can be said that in the 5G era, mastering antenna technology is equivalent to mastering the 'key' for 5G.

In the field of antennas, AAC Technologies has entirely self-initiated its core technologies. The company has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in R&D and manufacturing of antennas by integrating antenna technologies from the teams in the United States and Singapore. The company has continued to develop and manufacture antenna products from 2G, 3G to 4G and has successfully developed a variety of high-performance, tunable antenna solutions.

In response to the trend of integration of audio and RF in the 5G era, in early 2015, the company acquired WiSpry, a US wireless RF system supplier,, and integrated its advantages in acoustic components. AAC Technologies has the proven production capability of LDS antennas and LCP antenna products.

In September 2018, AAC Technologies was one of the two enterprises in China that won the Mass MIMO Antenna Project for 5G Medium-High Frequency Communication from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Currently, 5G base station antennas and mobile phone antennas are under development.

According to the 5G R&D team of AAC Technologies, AAC Technologies has a highly vertical integration capability in the R&D, design, process and production of 5G antennas. It not only provides an integrated solution, but also has rapid R&D and verification capabilities. Its products have excellent properties, included lightweight, low cost, and miniaturization. The company will complete the development of 5G products by the end of 2019, and will achieve mass production and delivery of such products in 2020. Its goal for the future is to become one of the most important developers and manufacturers of 5G antennas worldwide.
