SINGAPORE, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Malaysia's largest asset manager, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), said on Friday its president and group CEO, Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn, would resign to take the helm of the country's biggest state pension fund, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

News of the change, which takes effect on Feb. 16, confirms Reuters exclusive report on Thursday that Malaysia was set to make the appointment, citing three people familiar with the matter. (Reporting by Yantoultra Ngui; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
