What should we believe?

Over one year, the US consumer price index has risen by 5.4%. The country has just recorded its highest inflation increase in over a decade, thirteen years to be exact. However, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell continues to insist on the transitory nature of this price increase. Investors are starting to wonder: will inflation really be only temporary?
