NEW YORK, Jan 5 (Reuters) - St. Louis Federal Reserve leader James Bullard said on Thursday that he sees no real case for changing the central bank’s 2% inflation target.

“It would be a terrible idea” to change the 2% target especially in a time when the Fed was already struggling to meet it, Bullard told an audience of financial professionals in St. Louis. (Reporting by Michael S. Derby Editing by Chris Reese)
