Wm Braun Jones

Braun Jones is the controlling member of Stonehaven Capital.
In addition, he serves as CEO of AsiAmerica, an international market development firm.
Mr. Jones is a veteran entrepreneur who has founded companies and exited successfully through M&A and IPO transactions.
He began his career in 1988 as a financial analyst and project director for a subsidiary of Arnold & Porter.
In 1992, he founded Integrated Management Strategies (IMS), a corporate finance advisory firm he exited in 1994 when he co-founded University Online, Inc., (later renamed VCampus), an “online learning” technology company that he took public in 1996.
In 1998, Mr. Jones successfully exited VCampus and co-founded and served as President of The McLean Group, a middle-market investment bank and business valuation firm that he sold in 2005.
That same year, Mr. Jones joined Outcome Capital, a middle-market investment bank and private equity firm, as a co-owner and Managing Director.
Braun exited Outcome Capital in 2014 and founded Aston Stewart International Holdings, a diversified financial services company he exited through a management buyout transaction in 2019.
He now focuses primarily on investing in and advising middle-market businesses, sourcing transactions for institutional investors, as well as leading AsiAmerica.
Braun serves or has served on numerous boards for technology companies as well as nonprofit and professional organizations.
Mr. Jones earned his BS in Finance from Virginia Tech in 1987 and an MBA from James Madison University in 1988.
Braun resides in Virginia with his wife and four children.
Mr. Jones is a FINRA registered representative (Series 7, 24, 79, 63).
