Mr. Citrin is an experienced engineer and an accomplished entrepreneur and manager, having developed and sold numerous information and communication technology products for the most demanding U.S.
Defense and Homeland Security applications.
In March 1996, as CEO, Mr. Citrin co-founded Solipsys Corporation to create and sell data integration and display software technologies to the Department of Defense.
With revenue of approximately $50M, Solipsys was acquired by Raytheon as a strategic addition to their Integrated Defense Systems business in 2003.
Mr. Citrin haswealth of experience in system engineering, with 19 years in Navy Surface Radar System development.
During his 18 years at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), he contributed to the design and development of automatic signal processing and tracking systems for numerous surface combatant surveillance systems, including SPS-48C/E, SPS-49(V)5,7, and SPY-1 A/B.
He designed the radar control and command and control functions of the AN/SYS-2 integrated automatic detection and tracking system.
From 1985 until 1996, Mr. Citrin led the design, development, and weapons system integration of the Cooperative Engagement Processor and related systems.
Mr. Citrin received a BSEE from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and MS in Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1976.
