Richard Austin Benson

Mr. Richard A.
Benson is a Co-Chief Investment Officer & Head of Discretionary Investments at Millennium Global Investments Ltd.
He joined the firm in 2008 with primary responsibility for managing discretionary investment strategies.
He manages a team of portfolio managers and analysts.
Mr. Benson gained extensive experience at both Investec Asset Management and Fischer Francis Trees and Watts in London.
During his five years at FFTW, he was a key member of the Global Currency team having responsibility for managing global currency exposures in both currency alpha and currency overlay programs.
He spent five years in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer.
He holds a BEng in Naval Architecture from Newcastle University and is a member of the Society of Business Economists and is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK.
