Naveed Vakil

Mr. Naveed Vakil is a Chief Operating Officer at AKD Securities Ltd.
and Head of Research at TAIB Securities WLL.
He also serves as a Non-Executive Director at M3 Tech Pakistan (formerly known as AKN Messaging Technologies).
He has over 7 years of experience in sell side equity research and over the past years has headed an equity research unit in Pakistan.
He has an extensive understanding of all major listed sectors at the Karachi Stock Exchange, with a specialization in oil & gas and power.
Mr. Vakil has represented AKD Securities at various international marketing road shows and investor conferences across all major global financial centers for Pakistan equities.
He was ranked among the top three analysts in Pakistan by the CFA Association of Pakistan for the year 2006-07 for excellence in research.
Mr. Vakil also set up Pakistan’s first professional services platform to provide research and financial advisory services to financial institutions in the MENA region and GCC in particular.
The success of providing offshore professional services led him to set up AKD Analytics where he serves as a Senior Consultant creating specialized teams to provide clients with professional end-to-end financial services.
