Mr. Kevin W.
Gaffney is a Chief Investment Officer for the Money Market group within the Fixed Income division at Fidelity Management & Research Co. LLC.
In this role, Mr. Gaffney works with the money market investment team to determine investment strategy and risk management practices for Fidelity’s money market mutual funds.
Prior to assuming his current position in 2019, Mr. Gaffney served as a portfolio manager and was responsible for managing multiple money market funds He also worked as a trader on the Taxable Money Market Desk and held various roles with Fidelity Accounting & Custody Services Company (FACS), including custody operations manager and custody analyst.
Before joining Fidelity in 1995, Mr. Gaffney was a registered representative at Scudder Stevens and Clark and a settlement specialist at Bear Stearns.
He has been in the financial industry since 1992.
He earned his bachelor of science degree in business management from Lynchburg College.
