Gadi Lenz

Mr. Gadi Lenz is Senior Vice President-Strategic Business of Kodeos Communications.
He was born in Zurich, Switzerland and grew up in Haifa, Israel.
He received his BSc (Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, in 1988, and his MSc in 1990.
His MSc thesis was on Bragg reflection waveguide devices.
In 1995 he received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from MIT; where his thesis work was in the field of femtosecond optics and spectroscopy of semiconductor optical amplifiers.
During 1996 held a postdoctoral position in the Planar Lightguide department at Bell Labs, working on Silicon optical bench integrated optic devices.
From 1996 to 2000 Gadi was a member of technical staff in the Optical Physics Research department at Bell Labs.
During this period he worked on ultrafast all-optical devices, optical filters and their dispersive properties, all-pass filters, Erbium-doped glasses and semiconductors, and nonlinear fiber Bragg gratings.
He has 90 talks and papers and 15 patents.
As a co-founder he has been with Kodeos since January 2001
