Dirk Lupberger
Profile
Prior to joining PolyTechnos in 2002, Dirk spent 14 years with Siemens and held a number of management positions including President and CEO of Siemens Venture Capital.
As the CFO of Siemens Mobile in Shanghai, Dirk managed the growth of the unit from 60 to 1,200 employees.
Dirk has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, and the Far East, and specializes in information technology and communications, and energy product development.
Dirk has been a board member at a number of technology start-ups including XPE (now PacketExchange), where he guided the company’s European expansion and merger.
He also served on venture capital advisory boards such as TVM (Germany) and Millennium Materials (Israel).
Dirk received his law degree and his Ph.D.
from the University of Munich and holds an MBA from the Johnson School of Graduate Management, Cornell University in New York.
