Glamorgan Aluminium Company Limited was founded in 1971. Since then it has developed into one of the major aluminium curtain wall and window companies in the United Kingdom. There are two divisions of Glamalco Limited which form the GAC Group and each independently offer a full design, fabrication and installation service to the industry. Turnover is in excess of 16 million per annum and resources are managed so that they can either operate independently, or jointly, when project size necessitates. The manufacturing base of Glamalco Limited is situated in Cardiff, Arcadia Aluminium and the steel manufacture of Framesafe is situated in Andover, Hampshire. Its Design Departments have project leaders and design draughtsmen, who are all trained in the total product range offered. Its draughtsmen are either already qualified to NVQ level 4, or training to reach that level.
