Brian Klaban joined LLCP in 2024 and currently serves as Head of Capital Markets and Director of Originations.
In this capacity, he is responsible for LLCP’s debt capital markets activities as well as origination of new investment opportunities and investment due diligence with a focus on the Midwest and Southern U.S.
Prior to joining LLCP, Brian was the Head of Business Development and Debt Capital Markets at Platte River Equity, a Colorado-based private equity firm.
Prior to that, he held several roles at Apogem Capital (f/k/a Madison Capital Funding LLC) including origination, underwriting, distressed credit management, and portfolio management providing capital solutions to private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Earlier in his career, Brian worked in the equity sponsor group and commercial finance group at National City Bank (now part of PNC).
Brian received a B.B.A in Finance and a B.S.
in Economics from Eastern Michigan University, where he was a member of the football team.
He is also a CFA Charterholder.
