They are a subsidiary of Nuveen Finance LLC, ultimately owned by TIAA Board of Governors. TAL provides services to individual and institutional separately managed account clients primarily through investment advisory programs such as wrap-fee and dual contract arrangements, and Exchange Traded Funds.
