Mr.Teredesai is a portfolio manager and Principal at Ellington.
Since joining Ellington in 1997, he has been responsible for developing Ellington’s emerging market arbitrage trading efforts.
Mr. Teredesai helped develop Ellington’s proprietary system to evaluate various emerging market debt instruments, including options and credit derivatives.
Prior to joining Ellington, Mr. Teredesai worked in the emerging markets division of Cargill for three years.
At Cargill, Mr. Teredesai developed a relative value emerging markets trading effort and was given the control of Cargill’s new emerging markets derivatives trading desk.
He guided Cargill’s local offices in developing systems for trading local instruments and their derivatives, and trained local office personnel on quantitative trading techniques.
