Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited is an India-based oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company operates under the brand, Cairn, under which it holds an interest in 44 blocks spanning over 47,000 sq km of acreage across India, with gross proved plus probable (2P) and contingent (2C) resources of 1.4 bnboe. Its producing assets span key hydrocarbon basins in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Assam, supported by technology-led exploration, advanced subsurface expertise, and engineering capabilities. Ir operates over 13 basins, including onshore, offshore and deepwater. The Rajasthan block, covering 10,000 square kilometers (km2), is situated in the Barmer district. It operates offshore blocks in the Lakshmi and Gauri fields within the Cambay Basin. In Andhra Pradesh, it operates the Ravva redevelopment project, located in the shallow waters of the Krishan Godavari (KG) basin on the east coast of India. It holds an acreage of 7,650 km2, situated in the Arkan Basin of Assam.
