Mr. Alan Bartlett is a Chief Investment Officer at Templeton Global Advisors Ltd., a Chairman at Goodhart Partners LLP.
He is the Founding member of the Goodhart team in 2009, serves as Chairman of both the Goodhart Partners Board and Volunteer Park Capital Fund Investment Committee.
He was previously Chief Executive Officer at Goodhart having led its creation through the management buyout of WestLB Mellon Asset Management’s institutional multi-manager team.
Mr. Bartlett was also Chief Investment Officer at Templeton Global Equity Group (TGEG), having assumed this position in October 2019.
Prior to Goodhart, he was Chief Investment Officer of the multi-manager team at WestLB Mellon Asset Management (“WMAM”).
He joined WMAM in September 2005 from MM Asset Management, where he was Director of Research, responsible for manager research and fund construction across a broad range of multi-manager funds.
Before MM Asset Management, Mr. Bartlett was Head of Manager Research at Aon Investment Consulting in London, and Head of Manager Research at Hymans Robertson Actuaries & Consultants in Glasgow.
He has an MSc in Investment Analysis and a BA (Honors) in Economic Policy, both from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
