Winmill & Co. Incorporated, through its subsidiaries, provides investment management and distribution for the two mutual funds in the Midas Funds family and investment management for the closed-end fund Foxby Corp. The objective of the Company is to increase book value per share over time for the benefit of its stockholders. Its subsidiaries include Midas Securities Group, Inc. (MSG), Midas Management Corporation (MMC), Performance Driven Properties, Inc. (PDP) and Closed End Funds Marketing LLC. MMC is an investment adviser. MMC advises the Midas Series Trust (the Midas Trust), mutual funds consisting of Midas Discovery, Midas Special Opportunities, and Foxby Corp., a closed end fund (collectively with Discovery and the Special Funds). MSG is a broker-dealer that provides distribution and shareholder services and other activities to the Midas Trust on behalf of Discovery and Special. PDP holds and licenses the trade names and Internet domain names used by the Company.
