July 1, 2015, Taipei Taiwan - Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (YM) is pleased to announce a new weekly service, named SA2 (South America Loop II), between Far East and West Coast of Latin America. The SA2 service will start with MV YM GREEN from Kaohsiung on July 9th 2015.
This service will be jointly operated by Yang Ming, Hanjin Shipping Co., Ltd. (HJS) and Hyundai Merchant Marine Co., Ltd. (HMM) with a total of 10 vessels of 4,500-5,500TEU. The ships will call following ports in rotation:
Kaohsiung-Shekou-Ningbo-Shanghai-Pusan-Manzanillo, Mexico-Buenaventura, Colombia-Callao, Peru-Valparaiso, Chile-Lirquen, Chile-Manzanillo, Mexico-Pusan-Kaohsiung
With introduction of this new service, Yang Ming can provide customers with extensive port coverage and competitive transit times from Asia to the West Coast of Latin America, including Mexico, and vice versa.
