Westgold Resources Limited provide this update on the operational expansion of, and related drilling, at Bluebird underground mine at Meekatharra. Murchison Operations - Bluebird Operational Update: Westgold's Murchison Operations incorporates four (4) underground mines and two (2) processing plants from Cue in the south to Meekatharra in the north. Westgold's Bluebird processing hub is at the northern end of this package and located approximately 15km southwest of Meekatharra.

The Bluebird underground mine and the Paddy's Flat underground mine are the primary ore sources feeding the 1.4-1.8Mtpa Bluebird processing plant. Open pit surface stockpiles and intermittently ore from Cue is trucked to Bluebird to maintain processing throughputs. Bluebird Underground - Current Status: In late 2019, Westgold commenced exploratory underground operations at Bluebird, with a decline established in the South Junction open pit.

In February 2021, Westgold took the opportunity to comprehensively drill out both the existing mine plan, and adjacent extensions to the orebody. The subsequent restart of operations capitalised on this drill bit investment, delivering project to date production of 597,000 at 2.90g /t Au versus an initial reserve over the same mining footprint of 149,756t at 2.60g/t Au. The initial mine design of Bluebird underground was a production scale of 25,000tpm @ >3g/t Au.

The mine rapidly achieved design production levels in 2021 with Bluebird's operating team setting production records in Q1, Fiscal Year 23 of 90,588t at 3.2g/t Au. Mine production continues to grow with Q2, Fiscal Year 23 production reconciled at 110,606t at 3.5g/t Au. Mine Expansion Continues: Given the material and consistent outperformance of the Bluebird mine versus Ore Reserve, the site team are actively pursuing options to expand the mine, leveraging existing infrastructure to achieve increased production rates.

The next phase of expansion at Bluebird is predicated upon moving from a single decline to two dedicated declines to further expand the mine's footprint and provide simultaneous access to multiple stoping fronts on any given level. Access is also being established to the Bluebird North lodes. This link drive will allow subsequent production from the Bluebird North area to be decoupled from Bluebird Main, effectively resulting in a second mine sharing the current mine's infrastructure lowering overall unit costs.

Recent drilling results north of the current mine plan auger well for production contributions from the northern area of the Mineral Resource. Drill Hole 22BLDD253 - Expands the Footprint Yet Again: With the early success of 22BLDD253 longer term drilling platforms are being designed which will enable quantification and subsequent evaluation of the South Junction orebody and the nearby Great Northern Highway deposit. The Bluebird Trend from the southern end of South Junction to the northern end of Bluebird North is approximately 1,950m in extent, with the Great Northern Highway deposit 870m to the east of this trend.

Given its role in hosting the portal access to Bluebird, South Junction would share a large portion of the existing Bluebird infrastructure, lowering the investment hurdle.
