Renner to manage advice capabilities, reimagine the delivery of advice across WIM

SAN FRANCISCO - Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) today announced Beth Renner as head of its new Advice Center in Wealth & Investment Management's (WIM) Advice and Planning center of excellence. The new Advice Center is designed to build advice capabilities designed to appeal to a broad range of client needs, concerns and goals.

In this role, Renner will lead the team responsible for helping to provide family dynamics, philanthropic advice, retirement services, family office services, corporate executive services, business transitions, life event services, and other goal- and advice-oriented capabilities. Reporting to Michael Liersch, WIM head of Advice and Planning, Renner also will play a critical role in developing new ways for advisors and clients to productively collaborate in ways that deepen these important relationships.

Renner has more than 30 years of experience in the financial service industry and in the field of philanthropy. She most recently led Wells Fargo Bank's National Philanthropic Services Group in WIM, where she oversaw specialized advisory services to charitable individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations as they work toward their unique goals. She first joined Wells Fargo & Company in 2005 after serving as a vice president and private banking manager at U.S. BanCorp.

Renner currently serves as a board member for the National Women's History Museum and is on the board of regents at Concordia College. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Concordia College and a master's degree from University of Mary in business administration and management.
