Webster Banker Turns 40: United Way Receives the Gifts WATERBURY, CONN., March 26, 2014 - Age 40 is a milestone and one Webster Banker embraced it and shared it with others. Jill Fromowitz, a customer service representative at Webster in Southbury, Conn., had always wanted a Build-A-Bear party. So, she and her husband Mark, lead systems analyst at Webster, decided to do just that - celebrate - and donate the bears.

On March 8, 60 family members and friends spent six hours making 80 bears, dogs, and other toys to donate to three non-profit agencies selected by the United Way of Greater Waterbury: Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury Women's Shelter, The Salvation Army, and Family Services of Greater Waterbury. The whole Fromowitz family delivered the toys to the agencies last week and agency representatives were thankful that their young clients would have something to cuddle.
Webster Bank is a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers from metro New York City to Boston,
Mass. One of Webster's core values is for bankers to give of themselves in the communities they serve.
