BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwired - Jan 30, 2014) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VSYM), a rapidly growing provider of security products for schools, event planners, banks and government institutions, announced today that there has been a very favorable response thus far to the presentation given by View Systems at the 2014 Kansas Workforce Summit held January 23-24 in Topeka, Kansas.

View Systems received an invitation last summer to speak at this year's Workforce Summit. The Kansas State legislature recently enacted a concealed carry law that took effect in January 2014. The law, in part, requires all state or municipal buildings, including schools, to have a means of detecting weapons at all public entrances. The audience at the summit included state legislators, school board and municipal officials, law enforcement personnel and others from throughout the State of Kansas.

Danny Gillum, View Advisory Board member, gave a 30-minute presentation on weapons detection systems in general to include View's signature product, the ViewScan.

Mr. Gillum reported that the presentation was, "exceptionally well received" and has already resulted in multiple requests for presentations at the local level throughout the State.

View Board of Directors member Dr. Maasen commented, "The clear advantages that the ViewScan has over our competitors makes our product the perfect solution for Kansas schools and state buildings to meet the requirements of their new concealed carry law."

VP William Gaskill stated that, "We have started 2014 with a bang! Kansas is a new market for us and we have great expectations given the overwhelming response thus far to Danny's presentation."
