VIA Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,508.775 million compared to TWD 1,463.639 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 96.866 million compared to TWD 168.010 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 109.043 million compared to net income of TWD 10.642 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.22 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 3,026.094 million compared to TWD 2,718.695 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 157.553 million compared to TWD 413.237 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 104.031 million compared to net income of TWD 23.082 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.21 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.05 a year ago.
