Concha y Toro received the V-Label seal, a simple and reliable reference on the inputs used during winemaking.

Chilean subsidiary Concha y Toro once again achieved vegan V-Label certification for 52 of its wines. To obtain the seal, all the inputs used in the winemaking stage were evaluated directly with each supplier. In addition, specific studies were conducted for each wine evaluated.

V-Label is an internationally recognized symbol for the labeling of vegan products and services. For consumers, it is a simple and reliable reference that helps and guides their purchasing decision. With V-Label, companies promote transparency and clarity in their composition and manufacturing.

Regarding this milestone, Paula Tello, Manager of Winemaking Quality & Operations, commented, "Vegan certification has been in place at the winery for several years now, always led by the Sustainability team and as a second line, Enological Quality. This year in particular, as Oenology Quality we moved to the first line, taking on the challenge of leading the entire certification process, being the link between winemakers, the certifier and commercial areas".

"The process was long, but successful, because we had to organize all the information on winemaking inputs for each harvest code that had to be sent to the certifier for review. Viviana Moreno, Head of Oenological Quality, played a fundamental role, as her management between winemakers and suppliers ensured the success of the process," she added.
