Univest Financial Corporation announced that on August 1, 2021, K. Leon Moyer will retire from the Board of Directors of the Corporation and the Univest Bank and Trust Co. Mr. Moyer has reached the mandatory retirement date. On July 28, 2021, the Board of Directors of the Corporation appointed Joseph P. Beebe, who is presently serving as an Alternate Director of the Corporation, as a Class III director, effective August 1, 2021. Mr. Beebe's term will expire at the 2023 annual shareholders meeting. Mr. Beebe will serve as Vice Chairman on the Corporation's Audit Committee.
Univest Financial Corporation is a bank holding company for Univest Bank and Trust Co. (the Bank). The Bank is a state-chartered bank and trust company. The Company has three segments: Banking, Wealth Management and Insurance. Banking segment provides financial services to individuals, businesses, municipalities and non-profit organizations.
