Thun/Zürich - Mai 7th, 2014 - Due to the sustainable development of the United Commodity AG (UC), the Board of Directors has approved a reinforcement of the management. Effective May 26, 2014 Mr. Christof Aregger, 45, will assume responsibility for the financial sector as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for UC. The business economist Aregger brings a strong performance track record in corresponding positions. Jochen Schäfer: "We are pleased that with Mr. Aregger we could win such an experienced specialist for our enterprise. " Schäfer himself who conducted the department of finances till now will more and more devote himself to the areas of business development and institutional fundraising in future.

As already announced, United Commodity will expand the transparency in the financial sector. Accordingly, the reporting to the General Meeting of May 14th, 2014, will include a pro-forma consolidated balance sheet of Dec. 31st, 2013, which is then published on the homepage. This consolidation bill will show a clear appreciation of the intrinsic value and the company's equity.
