United Bancshares Inc. announced that board of directors elected Brian D. Young to serve as a director of the company, effective August 1, 2012. On July 17, 2012, the company elected Diana L. Engelhardt to the office of chief financial officer, effective August 1, 2012. Ms. Engelhardt, 56, is currently the senior vice president and chief financial officer of the bank and she has held these positions since February 2012.
United Bancshares, Inc. is a financial holding company. Its principal subsidiary is The Union Bank Company (Union Bank). Its core business operations are conducted through its subsidiaries, Union Bank and UBC Risk Management, Inc. (UBC Risk Management).
