Unid Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Chemical Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products such as caustic potash, potassium carbonate, liquid chlorine and others. This segment's products are used for styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), semiconductors, drugs and detergents, among others. The Board Business segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF), solid wood, lumber and others. The Light Emitting Diode Business segment manufactures and sells sapphire ingots and wafers. The Overseas Business segment is engaged in product brokerage, production and sales of chemical products such as potassium carbonate, caustic potassium, hydrochloric acid, and steam and power generation business.
